Easter on Ice

The Easter Bunny put on a big red and made it all the way down here for us. We awoke to Easter Baskets in front of all 200 rooms.

These were taken over the past few days, we are down to about 4 hours of daylight a day. The sunrise is taking longer and longer and the sunset seems to be going quicker and quicker.

more Discovery Hut

Discovery Hut

I got to go inside Discovery Hut the other day. It was last inhabitated in 1911 by explorers Shackelton & Scott. Pretty insane on the inside with dead seals, penguins & sheep. Due to the extreme cold everything is very well preserved.
